Music and Performing Experience

Along with writing and filmmaking, music has also always been a big part of my life. I love listening to music and discovering new bands and songs. I have also taken music lessons for a majority of my life, including singing lessons that I took for a total of 10 years, guitar lessons, and piano lessons, as well as taking music classes and being in my school's chorus every year of grade school. I am a classically trained soprano.

I also love performing. I participated in the annual concerts for music students put on by the Bloomsburg Prepatory School of Music for every year that I took lessons with them. I also did a couple of shows with other students of the music education company, Zing Productions, in Danville, PA, that I took guitar lessons from, one of which was a paid entry show where all the proceeds went to the company.

Grayson, a white person with glasses and short brown hair that sticks out of their cream-colored fedora hat that has a black ribbon around it. They are wearing a blue button up sleeveless shirt, black pants that are partially obsured in the photo, and a silver key necklace. They are sitting on a stool, holiding a guitar, and singing in front of a microphone and music stand. There is a Zing Productions logo on a stand in the background, and blue curtains.

You can watch videos of my song covers and vocal performances here!

I performed minor roles in multiple theater productions as well, such as:

an image in a newspaper of Grayson, a white person with short, reddish-brown hair and glasses, wearing a gray-ish blue t-shirt, looking off to the side, and holding a puppet with peach-colored skin, short, brown hair, a yellowish-white button up shirt, and a green sweater vest. Behind Grayson is a line of a couple other people also holding puppets in front of a black background.

I have not performed much since the end of high school because of a few reasons: My schedule got busier, I prioritized my love of film and writing, and because my stage fright got worse as I got older, despite the fact that in many other aspects of my life I became more confident and less anxious. I still sing in the comfort of my own apartment, and I would love to get back into performing in front of others again and working on overcoming my stage fright.
